1. About these terms
This website, medmatis.com, is run by Medmatis Digital Innovations, 207/1 Netaji Colony, Baranagar, Kolkata, West Bengal - 700090, India ("Medmatis", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.
These terms are about using the website. Any work we do for a client (a doctor, clinic or hospital) is covered by a separate written agreement, and nothing on this website is an offer or a contract for services.
2. What the website is for
The website tells doctors, clinics, hospitals and healthcare organisations about Medmatis and its services, and publishes guides and articles about healthcare communication. The content is general information.
- It is not medical advice. Medmatis is a marketing and communication agency, not a medical provider. Nothing here should be used to diagnose, treat or make decisions about health.
- It is not legal advice. Our guides and articles about the National Medical Commission's ethical advertising guidelines explain a public notice in plain language and quote its clause numbers. They are not legal advice, they can fall behind new clarifications, and the NMC's own text always takes priority. Please read the original notice and take advice from a qualified lawyer on your own situation. Doctors and hospitals remain responsible for what is published on their behalf.
- Medmatis is not part of, approved by or certified by the NMC. Where we say our work is "built around" the guidelines, we mean our own process. We do not promise that any activity will be accepted by a regulator.
- No guarantees. We do not promise any search ranking, AI citation, number of enquiries or other result.
3. Using the website
You may read and use the website for lawful, personal or business purposes. You must not:
- use it in a way that breaks any law or the rights of others;
- try to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with it or overload it (including with automated tools that disrupt the service);
- send spam, malicious code or false information through the contact form;
- submit patient or other people's health or personal information through the website.
We may block access to anyone who does these things.
4. Contacting us
When you send the contact form or message us, you confirm the details are yours and that we may contact you about your enquiry. We will use them as described in the Privacy Policy. Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship; that only starts when both sides sign a written agreement.
5. Ownership of the content
The text, design, graphics, photographs, videos, logos and code on the website belong to Medmatis or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Client and other organisations' names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify them.
- You may share a page's link, and quote short extracts with clear credit to Medmatis and a link to the page.
- You must not copy, republish, sell or build a product from our content, or present it as your own, without our written permission.
6. Links and third-party content
The website links to and embeds other services (for example the NMC, YouTube, Google Maps and WhatsApp). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability. Using them is subject to their own terms.
7. Accuracy and availability
We take care to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or free from errors, or that it will always be available or free from interruption. We may change or remove content, or the whole website, at any time.
8. Our responsibility
The website and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Medmatis is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of business or profit, or loss caused by decisions you make based on a guide or article. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the new version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes about them are subject to the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
